During app signup, the user is shown the profile visibility with two options, Public and Private. The default is Private.

All profiles are hidden from the internet. User profiles can only be seen by someone with an account on the app. The major difference between the two settings is who else will be allowed to see the user's posts. Learn about connections.

At anytime thereafter, the user can update this setting. Refer to Managing Your Profile for more information.
